When is the best time to travel to Halong Bay?

Halong Bay could be nicely visited all year around. Summer time (May to August) would bring clearest sky. Other times of the year is also nice to visit except March and April when would bring mist and foggy

Halong Bay Day Trip (01 day tour) is possible and worth it?

Even for a day trip, most of your time will spend on road but we still recommend it to limited time travelers. You will not be disappointed for few hours cruise. However, try to plan your Vietnam short trip with 2 days stay in Halong Bay. It will surely be better.

I travel with children, will overnight on the Junk be a good option?

This is a difficult question as the answer may not be true for all. We think children under 12 or so will not be suitable for overnight trip in Halong Bay. Most of the Junk in Halong Bay have been improved to be child friendly but 2 days cruise in limited spaces may not get along well with children. The option of day cruise and overnight at hotel or resort  in Halong City is considerable.

I am single travelers. What the option for me?

Taking a tour would be a good option, that save time and money. You can find a suitable range of tours through internet or direct booking when you get to Hanoi. Single surcharge may applied if you wish to take a single cabin.
